Way before the Gaga's of this world, there was Kelis... and watching her goes to show that you truly can reinvent yourself. She is back and all about her business... She's stepping out of the R&B genre and going the techno/pop route... and I must say, she's killing it. This song has been the number 1 dance/techno song in the country for over a month now, and she's still on top. I dig that she's merging this afrocentric appeal with pop culture, and though I don't like some of her 'fits/hair don'ts, I can't knock her hustle.
