Eve Is Looking For Love....

Ruff Ryda's Rapper, Eve, in a recent interview with Sister 2 Sister Magazine that she needs a man... I love Eve, and I"m glad that she's being more public with her love life (or lack there of it), but I feel like right now she should be focusing on music...
“I was going to Ghana for a while just because that’s where he is from. He’s an amazing man. We keep in touch every so often. He was a great guy, but I knew it wasn’t right. We definitely didn’t have the same things going on in our heads, as far as what it is we wanted as a life. He pretty much was down to do whatever I wanted to do and I don’t need that, you know? I need somebody in my life that’s going to challenge me. Like, I definitely want to be priority, but I don’t want a sap.”
See, I feel like when you're such an awesome artist, and you haven't made music in a while, speaking about your relationship is a last resort. Its like your golden beam of hope to stay relevant. Someone please tell Eve to go and lock herself in a studio and make some new music...

Why Lil Kim Might Never TRULY Speak On Nicki Minaj..

Lil Kim will most likely never sit down and saying her real feelings on Nicki Minaj, because until she has a current solid project to stand on, we will readily disregard her. Just like when SOHH.com sat down with Eve, who is also working on her comeback album, she said, "She definitely is a quirky chick...." What that really means is let me drop this album and we'll see whats really good.... Truth be told all these female rappers that are on the re-up, won't throw blows until they have a current project to stand on: Eve, Da Brat, Lil Kim... Luckily, Lil Kim was recently signed to Jay-Z's label, Roc Nation. No word on when to expect the project, but the word is Jay-Z is executive producing it... But, until we get the project, we'll just have to settle for subliminal disses like this...
"I love the wigs and everything but…I’m so above them!"

#Throwback -- Let Me Blow Your Mind by Eve ft. Gwen Stefani

This Eve and Gwen collaboration was epic. They just don't make music like this any more... I know Eve is working on her comeback album, but has anyone heard from Gwen lately? She was the don of white female divas. Easily crossed over from rock (Blink 182) to hip hop. She was that chick, way before Lady Gaga had the balls (pun intended) to put on her first leotard.

Eve Speaks On Nicki Minaj

I don't know about you, but I'm excited about Eve's return to rap... she was always that 'ruff ryders' chick that just as lyrically explicit like she was sexually. So when I heard of her speaking on Nicki Minaj I definitely took a listen...
"She definitely is a quirky chick. That's a good word for her," Eve said in an interview. "When she had the Freddy Krueger gloves I was like 'Wow.' But at the same time, whatever you decide to do, especially in music, you gotta go hard and own it. You can't be timid wearing Freddy Krueger gloves in a video. If you look insecure, people are going to be like 'Why are you doing that?' You gotta f*cking own it and she did. I think that's dope... Trust me, no one's competition for me and that sounds cocky but I seriously live in such an Eve world. And not in a crazy-everything-is-me-bubble, it's just that I'm bulding an empire. I go on Twitter and people say 'Yo, knock Nicki Minaj out of the box, but ultimately we're all helping each other and I'm happy seeing these chicks in the game. It's too much testosterone. When I see another female, my immediate reaction is not 'Oh I gotta go and get my sh*t right.' I got 900 other things going on. I can't keep worrying about what's coming up behind me." [via SOHH.com]
I can say that I agree, but also disagree at the same time... If you take a look at Nicki Minaj's music circa '06 pre-Playtime Is Over she had it. I just feel like she sold 'it' for a barbie doll. Can't wait to hear Eve's new album though... word on the street its BANANAS!
