Lil Kim Performs With DMX in AZ

On Saturday (June 17th), Lil Kim was making rounds at the local AZ nightclubs... Lil’ Kim brought out DMX during her performance at Suede Nightclub in Scottsdale, AZ.... I used to be the biggest DMX fan, so it saddened me when he went to jail and was dealing with his drug issues... So, when I first saw this video, I was happy because here's an artist I respect trying to make a come back, but what isn't shown on this footage is DMX getting 'buck' off stage. From a few of my friends who were there, he was man-handling his girlfriend and busting threw the crowd like he was on something.... o_O. Not a good look for DMX if its true. Diddy Throws Shade @ Lil Kim OR 50...

After the BET Awards, Diddy, and his headphones (beats by Diddy), and his liquor (Ciroc), were hosting the official after party... Last week Diddy launched his blog and campaigned his "love movement". After his interview with Martin Bashir, and 50 Cent and Lil Kim taking shots at him, Diddy felt the need to address his haters... I'm not quite sure which "hater" he was responding to, but he went on to say,

“Let’s stop the hate man, congratulate. Hate is for suckers. If you hatin’, you’re a sucker. You’re ashy and your breathe stink. You know I’m talking to you hating a** crab!”

Trina & Diddy Speak On Lil Kim x Nicki BEEF

The Nicki Minaj vs Lil Kim beef has been garnering more and more attention... Different artists are starting to weigh in on the situation, and I quite frankly feel like, no matter how many people speak on the issues, the "beef" is not going anywhere anytime soon, so why not drop the issue, and hope for it to go away faster...

Trina tells Honey Mag, “That’s crazy. I really don’t get it. I don’t see where all this is coming from…[We're] all ladies. Can’t we just make music and get our paper and keep it moving?! We all respect Kim. She opened the doors for us females. It’s all good — everybody’s eating, what’s the issue? This makes us all look bad. There’s barely any female artists as is — we don’t need this!”

Nicki Minaj vs Lil Kim; A Clash of The Barbies

Last week I had said that Lil Kim might never release her full feelings on Minaj, because she might need a feature for her new project. In a show last week in New York City, Kim said,

“We love her, we just want her to pay homage so we can all rock together... It’s all about respect. You respect me, I respect you. You don’t respect me, then f*ck you.” ...harsh but real words from her, but I guess Nicki didn't respond quick enough because on Saturday (June 5) Lil Kim throws on a pink wig and says, “I’m such a f*cking trendsetter... They better motherf*cking respect me.”

There are a whole bunch of diss videos on youtube/vimeo that you can watch, where both ladies speak on the beef. In my opinion the only difference between the chicks is generations. The have the same drive and the same talent. I can see where Lil Kim would be offended. If you spent years building a repertoire and someone new comes in and does it just as well, maybe even better, I'd be mad too... But at the same time, if not for Dancing With The Star, I wouldn't even know Kimmie was still kickin'.. I don't know how long this beef will go on for, but I can tell it will be fruitless. These chicks should take a que from Brandy and Monica and turn they hate into a hit record (ex: The Boy Is Mine).

Why Lil Kim Might Never TRULY Speak On Nicki Minaj..

Lil Kim will most likely never sit down and saying her real feelings on Nicki Minaj, because until she has a current solid project to stand on, we will readily disregard her. Just like when SOHH.com sat down with Eve, who is also working on her comeback album, she said, "She definitely is a quirky chick...." What that really means is let me drop this album and we'll see whats really good.... Truth be told all these female rappers that are on the re-up, won't throw blows until they have a current project to stand on: Eve, Da Brat, Lil Kim... Luckily, Lil Kim was recently signed to Jay-Z's label, Roc Nation. No word on when to expect the project, but the word is Jay-Z is executive producing it... But, until we get the project, we'll just have to settle for subliminal disses like this...

"I love the wigs and everything but…I’m so above them!"
