Hot 97 Summer Jam 2010 Flick Highlights

Here are some pictures from the Hot 97’s annual Summer Jam at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Sunday [June 6th]. Unfortunately I was unable to be there first hand, but I heard it was concert was slammin’! There were performances from all sorts of artist: Usher, J. Cole, Ludacris, Trey Songz, Fabolous, Drake, Estelle, etc… Also, thanks to BlogXilla I was able to see some more *interesting photos of the event. Monica And Ludacris Are Second Cousins

Monica recently did an interview with Hip-Hop Weekly and was divulging the ins and outs of her latest album, Still Standing... A midst the interview she pretty much said that her and Ludacris are ~~first~~ second cousins. After so many years in the game I'm not understanding why we're just figuring this out now, but it makes sense. If you look at both Monica and Ludacris' track record. They've been freakin' the game ever since they've been in it...

"We grew up together. My mom married his uncle over two decades ago. Before there was Ludacris and Monica, there was Christopher Bridges and Mo and we were just always close."

Ciara's New Album

The other day Ciara told her fans on Youtube that she's dropping a music video off of her upcoming album titled Basic Instinct really “soon.” I want to ask her how soon is soon, because although Fantasy Ride was a flop, I couldn't hate on her year long hustle promoting it. She was out there shaking that thang to every single techno beat on that album at every event possible. And though her music game needs some redemption, I've got nothing but #respect.
