I guess releasing two versions of the same video is the new trend; Estelle is the most recent to join the wagon. I do love this song though... The video was directed by Sanaa Hamri; one video features Nas and the other features John Legend. The video is about Estelle finding love in Brooklyn. This is the first single off of her third studio album, All of Me (to be released sometime this year). Check out both versions of the video and some behind the scenes money shots below... Here are some pictures from the Hot 97’s annual Summer Jam at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Sunday [June 6th]. Unfortunately I was unable to be there first hand, but I heard it was concert was slammin’! There were performances from all sorts of artist: Usher, J. Cole, Ludacris, Trey Songz, Fabolous, Drake, Estelle, etc… Also, thanks to BlogXilla I was able to see some more *interesting photos of the event. Check it out below... and for more coverage on the event go to MissInfo.Tv.
Here's the official music video to "Freak" by Estelle ft. Kardinal Offishall off of Estelle's upcoming album All Of Me... I normally can't stand the 'average' Estelle song, but this song is pretty chill, and Kardinal Offishall has a tendency to heat the track up a couple degrees. Not to mention the visuals are pretty bananas, an outerspace theme... and the sample of Soul II Soul's "Back To Life" (However Do You Want It), was pretty hot.
