Kid Cudi Performs At BAPE

If you know anything about Kid Cudi, you know that before he was discovered he used to be a sales person at the BAPE store in Soho District (New York). So its crazy to see things come full circle, by watching him perform his new single “REVOFEV”. It was all part of VEVO's new initiative called "Go Shows".

I don't even know what to call the moment that Kid Cudi had when he performed in Cleveland this past weekend. I don't know whether he was on or off something, or if something had happened off screen but Cudi stops mid set and goes HAM on a fan. I smell a parole violation. Watch the video...

♫ New Music: Erase Me by Kid Cudi ft. Kanye West

Kid Cudi is going HAM in the rocker scene... Cudi and Kanye West recently collaborated on a new track "Erase Me", which is set to be on Cudi's sophomore album, Man On The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager. His cd is set to drop on September 14th, along with Kanye's new album, and Big Sean's album. I guess it will be a G.O.O.D. Music Day.

In other Kanye related news... Nicki Minaj is featured on his forthcoming album. I stan for this man (Kanye), so if Nicki is on a track, I'm sure it won't be as atrocious as her performance at the BET Awards... Also, check out the visual for Kanye's single "Power", which is now available on iTunes. The artwork is about Ye' being crowned and stabbed, graphic, but there's a message behind it. In Case You Missed: Isle of Wight x Bonnaroo Festivals

If you're anything like me, you've probably never heard of the Isle of Wight Festival or the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival either... Both festivals are major hipster festivals. The Isle of Wight Festival in the U.K. on Friday (June 11); headlining was Jay-Z, Kanye West made a guest appearance for “Run This Town”. Then Jigga Man hopped on a jet plane to perform at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Tennessee on Saturday (June 12) . Kid Cudi, despite his arrest, took the stage. Wale was there, Aziz Ansari, Nas, Damian Marley, Conan O’Brien, B.o.B...

Kid Cudi Got Locked Up

I love Kid Cudi, but he's kinda fallen off the map as of late. I know he's been putting in work over on HBO for the show, How to Make It In America, but musically we haven't heard any new-ness. As for him being brought up on felony charges? Well... I can't say it surprises me.

"According to TMZ Kid Cudi was arrested in NYC today for felony criminal mischief and possession of a controlled substance. Sources say Kid took a 24-year-old woman's phone and slammed it to smithereens. He also allegedly broke the door of her apartment off its hinges. Cops arrived and found a glass bottle of a controlled substance."
