♫ New Music: Hot Toddy by Usher ft. Jay-Z

When I first heard the name of this song I thought it was a joke gone wrong, but it serious is the name of the song. The song was produced by Polow Da Don, penned by Ester Dean, and I must admit, is catchy. It'll take a little while to fully grow on me, but I'm loving it thus far. This is one of the few songs of of Usher's upcoming album, "Versus". Ciara is featured on the album version of this song, but being that this is a radio rip, no Ci-Ci here. ♫ New Music: Free Mason by Rick Ross & Jay-Z

Rick Ross and Jay-Z made a song called "Free Mason" and is off of Rick Ross' forthcoming album Teflon Don. The track was produced by the InKredibles, but when I heard the title it was an auto turn-off; here I was barely forgetting Jay'z on-to-the-next-one-illuminati-steez, and he makes this. *smh.... But after listening to the track I see he does do a bit to distance himself from the title.... but is it enough?

OD: Lady Gaga Dreams About The Illuminati

A few months ago I wrote a post about the symbolism behind Jay-Z's "On To The Next One". It got crazy feedback and it was a wonderful discussion, but after him denying the claims, I guess everyone "forgot". Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, and a couple other artists have been rumored to have ties to the Illuminati.. And in a recent interview with Rolling Stone and shared her dream about an Illuminati ritual.... #Hmmmmmm.... Read and post your thoughts below...

Lady Gaga tells Rolling Stone, “I have this recurring dream sometimes where there’s a phantom in my home,.. And he takes me into a room, and there’s a blond girl with ropes tied to all four of her limbs. And she’s got my shoes on from the Grammys. Go figure—pyscho. And the ropes are pulling her apart... I never see her get pulled apart, but I just watch her whimper, and then the phantom says to me, ‘If you want me to stop hurting her and if you want your family to be OK, you will cut your wrist.’ And I think that he has his own, like, crazy wrist-cutting device. And he has this honey in, like, Tupperware, and it looks like sweet-and-sour sauce with a lot of MSG from New York. Just bizarre. And he wants me to pour the honey into the wound, and then put cream over it and a gauze.... So I looked up the dream, and I couldn’t find anything about it anywhere. And my mother goes, ‘Isn’t that an illuminati ritual?’ And I was like, ‘Oh, my God!’”

She consulted her good friend and mentor Deepak Chopra about past dreams. “The devil’s trying to take me, Deepak. I’m a good girl!”, but she admits her illuminati dreams inspire her shows. “I do have morbid dreams. But I put them in the show. A lot of the work I do is an exorcism for the fans but also for myself.”

Dr. Dre Speaks On 'Under Pressure' Leak

For the Dr. Dre stans out there, you know we've been waiting on something from his upcoming album Detox for six-years. So it did not surprise me when a track, "Under Pressure", leaked onto the internet yesterday. The song features Jay-Z and was produced by Scott Storch. The leak is not the final version of the song, its missing some things and only clocks in about 2 mins and 30 seconds. Check out what Dre had to say about the leak...

“I want to set the record straight for everybody who’s been waiting to hear my music,” wrote the super-producer. “The song that’s on the Internet is an incomplete song that I’m still working on. When it’s ready, you’ll be hearing it from me.”

Here's how I feel about leaks... I feel they are intentional, if not from the artist, but from the artists camp to gage a response of the fans. Some situations can't be controlled, but in this situation, I'm sure it was some lab techie thinking he's helping. I'm majorly disappointed in the leak, it sounded like a Black Eyed Peas could have made, which is so un-Dre... Lets hope the final version is up to his normal epic standards.

In Case You Missed: Isle of Wight x Bonnaroo Festivals

If you're anything like me, you've probably never heard of the Isle of Wight Festival or the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival either... Both festivals are major hipster festivals. The Isle of Wight Festival in the U.K. on Friday (June 11); headlining was Jay-Z, Kanye West made a guest appearance for “Run This Town”. Then Jigga Man hopped on a jet plane to perform at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Tennessee on Saturday (June 12) . Kid Cudi, despite his arrest, took the stage. Wale was there, Aziz Ansari, Nas, Damian Marley, Conan O’Brien, B.o.B...

If you're a Jigga fan, and somehow got wind of the song "Light Up" off of Drake's Thank Me Later, I'm sure you left that song with an inkling for more... So Jay-Z's scratching that itch. Him and Swizz Beatz dropped a song called Ultra. The leak is off of The Evil Empire’s Trending Topics 4 mixtape, but the album version is rumored to be on Diddy-Dirty Money’s Last Train to Paris. "My fame’s a monster, ladies go Gaga... I’m ultra hot, mixing the pineapple with coconut Ciroc” -- take a listen & download here.

Jay & Bey "Young Forever" @ Coachella

Last night Jay-Z & Beyonce were at one of the dopest music and art festivals the west has, Coachella. It takes place in Indio, California, and the show will be continuing all weekend with more performances from folks like MGMT, David Guetta, Thom Yorke, De La Soul.. etc. If you've ever heard "Young Forever" you'd know that normally Mr. Hudson sings the chorus and such, but this rendition with Bey is pretty hot.

On To The Next One Symbolism

First and foremost let me say this, I can not speak for anyone but myself. I can not force knowledge on anyone, but I can simply present my take on it. If you get offended, you probably should visit my blog. I'm a child of God; so get with it or get lost. Me, @Dauche, and a couple other friends, as of late, have been really into researching and discussing secret societies and music. And I can't point fingers and folks and say they're devil worshipers, but Jay-Z has been using some devilish tactics. Jay-Z posted his "On To The Next One" video, and in it there's some madd symbolism.
First, watch the video.

So here's what I caught:

#1 The adornment (crown) around his head. His joint was in candles. In the bible Jesus had an adornment of olive branches detonating that he was the Son of God.
#2 The first smoke haze. The center (white smoke) formed the nativity scene [Mary, baby Jesus..etc], but then it gets engulfed in black smog.
#3 everything is dark//"all black everything".
#4 The number three. Everything was in threes. Three skulls, rosaries, crosses, pain stripes... etc.
#5 The pools of blood, rain,.. etc

There is so much more symbolism in this video, but this is just the initial stuff I caught. Watch for yourself, but don't be hypnotized by it. Take this knowledge and use it. Its obvious that Jay has been hearing the "Illuminati" rumors and is doing a little extra, being more blatant, and giving us a little more to talk about.
