My apologies for the the lack of posts today, I am in the process of upgrading the entire site so it can be better and awesome-r than it already is... The upgrade will be complete by tomorrow (at the latest), and I will have a lot of goodies, interviews and exclusives just for you. Thanks for sticking with me over the past year and a half. What You Mean Alicia Keys Ain't Swizz's 3rd Baby Mama...?!?!

A UK singer-songwriter & producer, Jahna Sebastian, has come out the wood works claiming that her daughter makes her Swizz Beatz 3rd baby mama, sorry Alicia. According a "friend" of Jahna, Swizz knows the child exists, and there's actually a paternity test that proved he's truly the father. According to that same "friend" Swizz pays $1500 a month in child support but refuses to publically acknowledge the kid; Someone tell Nas to appeal, if Swizz is paying $1500, shawty is getting robbed. Anyway, the internets were buzzing because Jhana wrote a blog titled, "I give thanks for being a producer myself so I don’t have to f*ck for tracks as if I was just a singer”... Sound like anyone we know? Well after hearing the backlash she posted a newer blog saying that it wasn't about Alicia...

It was not about Alicia Keys, stop spreading hate by taking words out of context
I was very surprised to find out that some folks started assuming that there were subliminal messages in my blog posted more than a month ago. There are NO subliminal messages there. The conclusion in my post was a general statement that can apply to various artists around the world from UK, US, Russia, China, Germany etc and at any point the history of music business. It was not targeted at any particular artist especially someone who writes and produces songs for themselves and other people, where is the logic in that? It was definitely not about Alicia Keys. Any Russian person who read it could have possibly linked it to a famous Russian artist in their mind who folks in the US or other parts of the world have never heard of. I guess, people see what their eyes want to see. No need to start a beef here and spread hate by taking words out of context.

I'm starting to feel like the whole Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz affair is like a long lost episode of Days of Our Lives.

Chris Brown & Usher Steam It Up In Jamaica

Chris Brown and Usher were two of many celebrities who performed down in Jamaica fro their Summer Fest (SumFest). They were joined on stage by, Jamaica's own, Elephant Man. This is just a little clip of Chris Brown renditioning "Brown Skinned Girl", crowd loves the kid; not sure how I'm feeling about them spandex looking capri pants though... There's rumored to have been an epic dance off between Usher and Chris, but until I see video footage, I'm not buying it... Anyway, check out the clip below.

When I first heard the name of this song I thought it was a joke gone wrong, but it serious is the name of the song. The song was produced by Polow Da Don, penned by Ester Dean, and I must admit, is catchy. It'll take a little while to fully grow on me, but I'm loving it thus far. This is one of the few songs of of Usher's upcoming album, "Versus". Ciara is featured on the album version of this song, but being that this is a radio rip, no Ci-Ci here. Kanye West Said He Likes My Facebook...

Okay, so maybe he doesn't like MY facebook in particular, but he does like it in general. Kanye West was at the Palo Alto headquaters of Facebook having a meeting with a couple of high honchos. I don't know what the meeting was about, but I'm assuming it was a good one, because shortly after, he decided to perform some new material on top of a table for all the facebookers. When he got home, he wrote on his blog about how much he appreciated the whole experience...

"To all my friends at Facebook, Many times in life I’ve had to deal with moments of doubt. And as it’s been a minute since I’ve performed any fresh material in front of an audience, this could’ve been one of those moments… but it wasn’t. Kid Cudi Performs At BAPE

If you know anything about Kid Cudi, you know that before he was discovered he used to be a sales person at the BAPE store in Soho District (New York). So its crazy to see things come full circle, by watching him perform his new single “REVOFEV”. It was all part of VEVO's new initiative called "Go Shows".
